Congratulations to several students for filling their behavior chart and having lunch with us! Teacherease scores have been entered today. Some scores will be entered next week due to time constraints. |
We continued learning about 2-D and 3-D shapes. We reviewed the names, angles, corners, sides, and the bases of 3-D shapes. Students worked on a 2-D shape booklet. They drew the shapes & took a walk around the school looking for objects that were the same shape! Look for the books to come home today!
We played a fun beginning sounds consonant BINGO game that is a new center during their small group time. Students continued adding in words with ee, i, and e sounds in their Vowel Town Packet. One of our new songs to help us with that double ee sound can be heard here:

Students created an anchor chart and listed plant needs: air, soil, space, sunlight; and parts: seed, roots, stem, leaves, and flower. The worked on a booklet describing the plant parts. Each day they focused on one particular part and need and read books & listened to information on www.pebblego.com.
They also created an animal research booklet in library and Mrs. Cohee came today to help finish up those informational books.
Thank you for all the donations for our Camping Basket!
Have a great weekend!!
